Magnetic and Ferroelectric 2D Materials
Since the discovery of the graphene in 2004, the field of two-dimensional (2D) materials has expanded continuously. In this seminar, we will present some recent advances in 2D ferromagnetic and ferroelectric materials. Physical mechanisms that drive spontaneous ferroelectric ordering, and the different magnetic states exhibited by layered materials will be presented. In addition, we will describe some common measurement techniques used in their characterization.
